Contract Administrator Opportunities

We now have two opportunities available for Contract Administrators to join the Stockport Homes Group (SHG) Facilities Management Team.

As the lead administrative support for either the gas safety and heating repairs contract or asbestos and legionella contracts, you must ensure that operational IT systems and administrative procedures are maintained and developed to support effective and efficient service delivery and that both statutory and good practice compliance is sustained at all times.

Managing work in progress (WIP) to ensure remedial actions following service visits are actioned in a timely manner and invoiced on completion, you will plan and coordinate work for engineers and surveyor and liaise with tenants over the phone regarding access to their properties for mandatory services. You must also represent SHG in making applications to the magistrate’s court for warrants to gain entry to properties for gas servicing and electrical testing and subsequently attending properties to execute the warrant.

With experience of working in an administration or contract support role, preferably within FM, building services, maintenance or housing sector operations, and strong IT literacy in Microsoft packages, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook, and a positive and enthusiastic approach to their work.

A full, clean driving licence with access to a car for work purposes is required for both roles.
