Joining us as an Energy Solutions Advisor, you will visit customers of Stockport Homes in their own home and provide a range of bespoke energy related advice services as well as checks to test the eligibility for any energy related financial support.
Carrying out Key Surveys and calculating and issuing EPC’s and DEC’s, you will support internal training and raise awareness of environmental and energy related issues whilst issuing payment cards and answering daily enquiries relating to district heating payment. Carrying out customer assessments and implementing payment plans as appropriate, you will develop campaigns to target vulnerable customer groups regards to fuel poverty and analyse customer energy data to support customers and when necessary investigate possible energy fraud.
With a good level of English and Maths and a good level of IT literacy (including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint or similar), candidates must have or be willing to obtain a fuel poverty qualification or equivalent such as City & Guilds Energy Awareness; experience of analysing energy bills and dealing with energy suppliers on general enquires would be beneficial.
We do ask that candidates have a good level of knowledge relating to fuel poverty and of energy efficiency technology and can demonstrate an understanding of the Feed-in Tariff claims process.
