Independent Living Team Leader- Fixed term contract for 9 months

An exciting opportunity has now arisen for an Independent Living Team Leader to join us. You will manage a team to ensure high quality, cutting edge services are delivered to older people, disabled people and their carers’ resident within Stockport Homes’ properties and within the wider community.
You will deliver a comprehensive housing management and support service to tenants living within SHG properties to promote independent living.
To achieve this you will need to have extensive experience dealing with a range of customer and staff management issues including complaints and challenging situations.
Key priorities for this role will include close liaison with our development team to ensure our portfolio of new build specialist housing for older people meets the needs of customers now and for the future.
Developing and embedding innovative services to ensure our housing and support offer remains sustainable will also be a key part of this role
Our Independent Living Team Leader will be highly organised and self-motivated with the ability to work without direct supervision
You will use a combination of your excellent people and project management skills alongside your Housing Management and Support experience to achieve agreed outcomes with customers. Being able to work effectively under pressure and identify, recommend and implement improvements to the service is essential.
