Assistant Development Officer

We now have an opportunity available for an Assistant Development Officer to join us to play a key role in the procurement and delivery of our development programme.

A proactive individual with the ability to get things done on time you will support the Development team by assisting with the preparation of financial appraisals and funding bids, the drafting of written reports and in identifying and purchasing suitable land and property.

Responsible for raising invoices on behalf of the development team you will contribute towards the procurement and delivery of the development programme through liaison with consultants, contractors, solicitors, surveyors, funders and customers.

Candidates for this role must have a good standard of education and relevant experience of working in a housing, construction or related role. With excellent literacy, numeracy and customer service skills and the ability to use a wide range of computer software, you should have an understanding of the development process, good project management skills and the ability to manage and prioritise your own workload. A valid current driving licence and access to a car is essential for the role.
