Alert and Response Support Officer

Here at Stockport Homes, we are now looking for a number of Alert and Response Support Officers to join us on a permanent, full time basis.
The team provides 24/7 telecare support to both Stockport Homes customers as well as a range of private clients. This could be monitoring right up to full warden response. The team also works pro-actively to keep tenants safe and secure, providing support to our Neighbourhood teams with tackling Anti-Social Behaviour.
The role of Alert and Response Support Officer is extremely varied. You can find yourself;
• Call handling
• CCTV monitoring
• Assisting in the detection and prevention of ASB and criminal activity
• Dealing with out-of-hours repairs
• Providing a warden service to deal with falls
• Carrying out basic repairs to telecare systems
• Installing telecare equipment
• Carrying out welfare visits
This role demands an individual who has a strong customer focus and the ability to advise and support a variety of vulnerable customers. Highly organised and with a keen eye for detail, you will thrive working in a team environment and enjoy the challenge of a varied role.
Due to the nature of the role, you’ll need to be flexible to work all shift patterns. Our service is 24/7, 365 days a year and shifts are split in to early, late and night shifts. A full UK driving licence is also essential.
