The Carecall Concierge Team provide 24/7 support to its wide-ranging customer base and we are currently looking to recruit 10 Carecall and Concierge Officers to join us! Many of these roles have been created due to growth of the service and it is an exciting place to come and work – where no two days are the same! The team provide reassurance and support to customers both in person and over the phone – 24hrs a day, 7 days a week.
A day in the life of a typical Customer Support Officer could involve attending to a person in their own home, who has had a fall, and using specialist lifting equipment to help them up. It could also involve monitoring the vast network of CCTV in Stockport and dealing with issues pro-actively as they arise. You could be working with Police, Ambulance Crews and Social Services as well as internal departments and your colleagues.
The job is extremely varied and very rewarding – but the ideal candidate needs to be resilient and able to work under pressure, in a fast-paced emergency led service. As the service supports over 6500 people in Stockport, whatever their emergency, it has to operate a full 24hr, 7 day a week, 365 days a year service. This means our family of CCOs work a 3-shift rolling pattern to provide the right levels of cover, whatever day of the year it is!
The shifts involved are a selection of earlies (7am-3pm), lates (2.30pm-10.30pm) and nights (10pm-7am). After induction, you will be issued with a 16-week rolling rota which sets out your working pattern. At Carecall Concierge we appreciate how important it is to our team members know their shifts as far ahead as possible and work / life balance is a key principle of the rotas we work to.
As driving is essential to the role, the post requires you to hold a full UK Driving Licence. However, your own vehicle is NOT essential.
